Christmas is a very special time of year and I love it, but it’s easy to get caught up in the busyness of Christmas, the presents, the parties, the decorations etc. These things are all great fun however let’s not forget that the true reason for Christmas is Jesus; He is the real reason we celebrate and rejoice. God’s most precious gift of love was given through the birth, death and resurrection of His son Jesus, God’s gift of Salvation given for us.

Have a very Happy Christmas with family and friends, it’s time to celebrate because it’s Jesus birthday!

Luke 2 v 10-12 (NIV) But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all people. Today in the town of David a Saviour has been born to you; He is the Messiah, the Lord. This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.”

John 3 v 16 -17(NIV) “For God so loved the world that He gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send His son to condemn the world but to save the world through Him”.
