HOSANNA TO THE KING
Song Message
Jesus, the King of Kings was born as a baby on Christmas Day. The angels rejoiced and celebrated the birth of Jesus on that day, singing “Glory to God in the highest.” The true reason Christmas exists and is to be celebrated is because of this wonderful gift from God. It’s why I love Christmas so much and treasure being able to rejoice and sing praises to Jesus, celebrating the joy of His birth. “Hosanna to the King! His praises we will sing! Glory Hallelujah!”
Luke 2 v 11-14 (NIV) Today in the town of David a Saviour has been born to you, He is the Messiah, the Lord. This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.” Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying, “Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to those on whom his favour rests.”
Revelation 19 v 16 (NIV) And on his robe and on His thigh, he has a name written, “KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.”
