When a storm comes, when a battle rages, when there are worldly distractions coming from all directions, there is only one answer, one Saviour and that is Jesus. He is there for each of us, He stands at the door and knocks (Revelation 3 v 20), but it is up to us how we respond. God loves us and has chosen us but He has given us free will. Jesus does not make us come to Him, we have a choice. We choose where we go for help and to whom we look to. When we make the choice to receive Jesus into our lives and to keep our eyes on Him, this is where freedom begins. In doing this, we don’t suddenly have a problem free life on earth but we have Jesus to help us through and we receive heavenly peace beyond our own understanding. We are saved by the power of Jesus’ grace and Jesus turns our fears, failures and sadness into joy and praise because despite the trials of this world, we have hope in Him. We are able to see beyond the things of this world, we can see an end to our difficulties having received the beautiful gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ. Keep Your Eyes on Jesus, He is the answer, He’s the one who saves us.
