The deepest love comes from God because He is love Himself. For sure, I know that there are family and friends in my life who love me, but there is absolutely nothing that compares to the love I have received from Jesus. To know the truth which has been planted deep within me, that I am forever loved by Jesus, that despite my flaws and brokenness, He has made me whole because He took it all and sacrificed himself for me, this is the greatest treasure in my life. No one else has or will ever love me like this. Jesus’ love has set me free from all my mess; my sorrow has been turned into joy. I’ve never been loved like this before; Jesus has captured my heart forever.

1 John 4 v 9-10 (NIV) “This is how God showed his love among us: He sent His one and only Son into the world that we might live through Him. This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.”

 Nehemiah 9 v 17 (NIV) “But you are a forgiving God, gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in love…”

 Ephesians 3 v 17-19 (NIV) “And I pray that you being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge- that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.”
