Perfect peace comes only from Jesus. We do not need to fear because when we trust in the Lord, we receive peace like no other. It is powerful enough to calm a raging sea or quieten a storm yet guards and gently brings stillness to our hearts and minds. When we feel anxious if we pray and turn to Jesus his peace will sooth us and bring tranquillity to our soul. We can journey through life resting in the peace that comes from knowing Jesus.

 Isaiah 26 v 3 (NIV) “You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.”

Philippians 4 v 7 (NIV) “And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

John 14 v 27 (ESV) “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled neither let them be afraid.”

Mark 4 v 39 (NIV) “He got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, “Quiet! Be still!” Then the wind died down and it was completely calm.”
