Jesus is the light of the world and when we receive Him into our lives we receive His love and light into our hearts. Jesus is love itself and there is nothing else like this beautiful love which He gives to us. It is truly amazing! It is powerful! When we carry Jesus’ love and light within us, then we become children of light; we radiate and shine for Him. To me, Jesus’ love is like sunshine, it warms every part of me and fills my life with joy. The love of Jesus brightens the world; it gives light to my life.

2 Corinthians 4 v 6 (NIV) For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” made His light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of God’s glory displayed in the face of Christ.

John 12 v 36 (NIV) Believe in the light, so that you may have the light, so that you may become children of light.”

John 12 v 46 (ESV) I have come into the world as light, so that whoever believes in me may not remain in darkness.

Solomon 8 v 6 (NIV) Place me like a seal over your heart, like a seal on your arm, for love is as strong as death, its jealousy unyielding as the grave. It burns like blazing fire, like a mighty flame.
