Amidst the noise and business of Christmas, when I put aside the things of this world and stop to think about what Christmas really is, I’m reminded that the truth of Christmas is all about the greatest gift of love that God could give. This great gift was that God sent His one and only son into the world, so that if we believe in Him and accept Him into our life, we can live and be forgiven. This truth brings for us the most wonderful joy and celebration at Christmas. I’m so thankful for this amazing gift!
John 3 vs 16 (NIV) For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.
Romans 6 vs 23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
