Because of His great love for us, God gave His only precious Son, Jesus, who was completely innocent and pure, to pay the price for our sin in order for us to be free. No one else has, could or will ever do for us what Jesus has done. Jesus paid the ultimate price. He was tormented, beaten and crucified on the cross weighted with the enormity of all our burdens and sins, then raised to life again three days later in order for us to be forgiven, free and completely clean with the promise of eternal life when we receive Him into our life. This is God’s love for us at full capacity. To know I am loved that much! There is no greater gift and I am so truly thankful. “The fullness of love, has left me unmarked, you bare the scars, Jesus, You are The One.”

Isaiah 53 v 5 (NIV) “But He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.”

Isaiah 1 v 18 (ESV) “Come now let us reason together, says the Lord: though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow…”

1 Peter 2 v 24-25 (NIV) “He Himself bore our sins” in His body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; “by His wounds you have been healed.” For “you were like sheep going astray,” but now you have returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls.”
