You might ask, Jill, why are you doing this? Why are you singing Christian songs? Why are you sharing it with the world? My answer, I know what it is to be broken, I know what it is to suffer a deep depression unable to function but I did not stay in that low place, God had hold of me the whole time. He gave me a hope and a future. God showed me how much he loves me and I now know where the only true hope in life lies. I have found deep joy, a reason for living on this earth and I have found that through faith in Jesus. The whole point is that we all have struggles and brokenness in our lives and tough things happen, that’s why we need Jesus to help us. It’s why He came, to save us and bear the burden for us! To be forgiven, set free, redeemed, there’s nothing else like it! I sing because Jesus is the hope for the world and because He is my life, my hope and my all. We can search for meaning and try to find success and happiness in other things, but I have found a peace that can only come from God, even in the toughest of times, and it’s a joy to be alive.

 Lamentations 3 v 57-58 (NIV) “You came near when I called you, and you said, “Do not fear.” You, Lord, took my case; you redeemed my life.”
