When you receive Jesus into your heart, He will never ever leave you. Whether you are awake or asleep Jesus is always there and he surrounds and fills you with his love and peace. Singing this to a very special little girl I have experienced watching and sensing Jesus love and peace wash over her as she would listen to the words of this song and then go straight to sleep without a murmur. The power of the Holy Spirit is amazing and the love of Jesus so very precious. I pray as this lullaby is sung to young ones at bedtime that the love and peace that can only come from the Lord fills both the child and the adult with them. No matter what age we are, we are never on our own and we can rest in Jesus.
